June Cardigan

The yarn in this kit is made from 100% natural fibers

 The yarn is produced in Norway

June is a simple cardigan knitted top-down. The back is shaped first with German short rows, then each shoulder is knitted separately before you join the back and front pieces and knit the rest of the body back and forth. The cardigan has i-cord sleeves. Finally, a long tie-strap is knitted using a double knitting technique, which is knitted onto the cardigan to create a neat edge on the front pieces and around the neck. The entire cardigan is knitted with double strand (1 strand of each yarn quality).

  10 x 10 cm = 20 sts x 27 rows on 4.5 mm needles (stockinette stitch)

NOTE! Remember that everyone knits differently, test with a swatch to measure your gauge. If you knit a bit loosely, it might be good to go down half/one needle size. If you knit a bit tightly, you can go up half/one needle size.
