BlomsterSokken (The Flower Sock) is a cute and easy-to-knit sock, knitted in extra durable sock yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.

YARN 

  Fjell sock yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk,

  80% Norwegian wool, 20% nylon

 YARN CONSUMPTION

  Color 1:

  100 unbleached white 100 (100) 200 (200) 200 g

  Color 2:

  564 Corn yellow 30 (30) 30 (30) 30 g

  Color 3:

  578 Navy blue 30 (30) 30 (30) 30 g

  TIP: if you have any leftover yarn, it's perfect

  for use on the flowers!

  It is not as important that the yarn is extra durable

  for the flowers, as the heel and

  underside of the sock are what wear out most often.

 NEEDLE SUGGESTION

  Double-pointed needles 4 mm and 4.5 mm for the pattern 

  (or circular needle 80 cm for Magic Loop)

 GAUGE

  10 x 10 cm = 22 sts x 29 rows (stockinette stitch)

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

  Beginner 

NOTE! Remember that everyone knits differently; test with a swatch to measure your gauge. If you knit a bit loosely, it might be a good idea to go down half/one needle size. If you knit a bit tightly, you can go up half/one needle size.
