The Fjordsokken is a classic knee-high sock knitted in cable stitch, with a timeless and tradition-inspired look. The sock is knitted top-down using Fjord sock yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. With its timeless character, the sock is particularly suitable for festive costumes and bunads (traditional Norwegian outfits), but can also be worn for everyday use.

NEEDLE SUGGESTION

Double-pointed needles 2.5 mm and 3 mm
(or circular needle 80 cm for Magic Loop)

GAUGE

10 x 10 cm = 24 sts x 35 rows on 3 mm needles (cable knit)

NOTE! Remember that everyone knits differently, test with a swatch to measure your gauge. If you knit a bit loosely, it might be good to go down half/one needle size. If you knit a bit tightly, you can go up half/one needle size.
