June Cardigan

The yarn in this pattern is made from 100% natural fibres  

June is a simple cardigan knitted from the top down. The back is first shaped with German short rows, then each shoulder is knitted separately before joining the back and front pieces and knitting the rest of the body together in the round. The jacket has i-cord sleeves. Finally, a long tie is knitted using the double knitting technique, which is knitted into the jacket to create a neat edge on the front pieces and around the neck. The entire jacket is knitted with double yarn (1 strand of each yarn quality).

  Isager Silk Mohair 75% super kid mohair and 25% silk

  Sandnes Tynn Silk Mohair 57% mohair, 28% silk and 15% wool

NEEDLE RECOMMENDATION 

 80 cm circular needles 4.5 mm and 4 mm

 40 + 80 cm circular needles 3 mm

GAUGE

  10 x 10 cm = 20 sts x 27 rows on 4.5 mm needles (stockinette stitch)
